A clean campsite with views out to rolling hills and near the beautiful beaches of Dorset..

Camping with kids is not for everyone, however this campsite may well convert you, if you are contemplating it.

East Creech Farm and Campsite offers clean facilities, a pretty decent woodland playground, a tea room serving up snacks, ice cream and hot and cold drinks, as well as a campsite on the verge of beautiful rolling Dorset hills.

As per their website, 2017 Prices range from;

£15.00 to £21.00 per unit per night (2 adults + accompaning children).
There is an extra charge for more than 2 adults per unit.

Electric £2.50 per unit per night
Extra car/gazebo/boat £1.00 – £3.00 per unit per night

The Campsite is open from 1 April – 31 October.

Dorset is a great place to explore with the kids. Some of the best beaches include Durdle Door (if you can stomach the steep steps and trek down to the beach with the kids from the car park). It’s worth it if you can:

And Studland Bay where you can hire beach huts out for the day – get there early though as they book up quickly (https://www.nationaltrust.org.uk/studland-beach/features/studland-beach-huts).

Other recommendations for days out with the kids relatively near to the campsite include Abbotsbury Subtropical Gardens, an absolute oasis of tropical plants, including a rope bridge, pretty fun for kids and adults alike..

As a relative newcomer to camping holidays with kids, I can say this campsite and location convinced me to try camping again in the future.

  1. Been at this campsite and brilliant for my three little ones. Good showers and facilities. Stunning scenery. Quiet site. Playground was helpful!
