This two bedroom apartment says it can accommodate a maximum family of 4 on Airbnb. However, if you are a larger family, do get in touch through Airbnb with the owner, Andrea to confirm if he can accommodate you. He was very amenable when I reached out to him as a family of 5.
Below Emily tells us about her experience:
“We stayed there for a week and loved it. We didn’t meet our host Andrea Alfredo but he was always very responsive and helpful and did come out once but we just happened not to be in.
The ground floor accessed apartment has a simple but well equipped kitchen on the access level with a small TV area that leads out to a small garden and two bedrooms downstairs, which means that the rooms were cooler in the hot summer. One bedroom is a double room and the kids bedroom has two bunk beds, so can sleep four in there. From upstairs there is a sliding door that shuts off the stairs going down, reducing the risk for little ones. However from downstairs going up, we had to put our luggage across the bottom of the stairs, to stop our littlest adventurer. This was the only draw back of the place.
There is a hedge and a fence all the way around the apartment and the small garden, which means that it is enclosed and stops little ones from running off or going out towards the swimming pool. The pool is on the other side of the hedge and shared by the other apartments around it. We barely saw anyone else use it other than on one day. The views from the pool are beautiful and very tranquil.
From the apartment, it is about a 15 minute walk with a pushchair in to town. Uphill on the way there but easier on the way back. There is a quicker and more scenic route along cobble pedestrian lanes but you encounter lots of steps and is difficult with a pushchair. The town of Bellagio is small and very beautiful. There are fantastic restaurants, ice cream parlours, delicatessens and bars.
The lake (Lake Como) is just a short stroll down hill from the apartment. There are beaches to swim from in various spots in the town but we ended up by the pool each day and so didn’t explore these.”
One I’m going to add to the list for future holiday spots! Thanks Emily x
