We stayed at the stunning Soho Farmhouse in Oxfordshire over a long weekend and fell in love with the place. It is a part of the Soho House group a private members club where non members can stay if there is availability.

Unlike the other Soho Houses which are located in cities this is based in rural Oxfordshire countryside with the centre being a large square encompassing a restaurant, delicatessen, home shop, bar and the spa. The cabins are scattered around the surrounding fields and lakes which although they are made of corrugated iron the decor inside is devine and very stylish.
Our cabin comprised of a huge master suite with beautiful bathroom including a roll top bath, a large lounge with a log fire and small kitchen and a further large double bedroom with ensuite (and roll top bath) and a bunk bed room with its own bathroom.
Although the pool only allows children until 11am, they loved it as it was heated and was half outdoor and half indoor. Bikes are provided at the cabins for all guests and the kids loved cycling around the venue taking us to lunch, to see the horses or to play a game of crazy golf.
There is a kids club ‘teeny barn’ that is suitable for all ages and we had 4 hours free child care each day of our visit. Plenty of staff to entertain the children were on hand as well as lots of games, dressing up and crafts to do. Outside was a large fort-like play area, football goals and a cool old fire engine to play on.
Children are restricted in certain areas at certain times but children can eat for free between 5-6pm in the main sumptuous restaurant each day and my kids loved it here.
I recommend Soho Farmhouse to anyone who would like a break in stylish spacious accommodation and feel like you are staying somewhere truly special.
