Dorset is a great place to explore with the kids. Some of the best beaches include Durdle Door (if you can stomach the steep steps and trek down to the beach with the kids from the car park). It’s worth it if you can:
And Studland Bay where you can hire beach huts out for the day – get there early though as they book up quickly (https://www.nationaltrust.org.uk/studland-beach/features/studland-beach-huts).
Other recommendations for days out with the kids relatively near to the campsite include Abbotsbury Subtropical Gardens, an absolute oasis of tropical plants, including a rope bridge, pretty fun for kids and adults alike..
As a relative newcomer to camping holidays with kids, I can say this campsite and location convinced me to try camping again in the future.
Been at this campsite and brilliant for my three little ones. Good showers and facilities. Stunning scenery. Quiet site. Playground was helpful!
